The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 played minutes LOS DIOZES CF got a freekick which was hit by Gartzen Casillas. In the 11th minute, Isidro Velazquez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clodio Aballe was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, LOS DIOZES CF's Anacleto Albizua got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 18th match minute, LOS DIOZES CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gartzen Casillas to maneuver through the defense. Clodio Aballe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Velazquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. C.F Crokis's Baiardo Serena got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, LOS DIOZES CF's goalkeeper Cordeal Mayor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raymond Zabalo. In the 33rd match minute, LOS DIOZES CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidro Velazquez to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Juan-Luis Contratas managed to get in a good position for a shot. LOS DIOZES CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan-Luis Contratas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clodio Aballe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baiardo Serena got free with Cordeal Mayor in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vasile Morovan to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to LOS DIOZES CF getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Marco Abascal hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasile Morovan in the 63rd minute of play forced LOS DIOZES CF's goalkeeper Cordeal Mayor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Marco Abascal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LOS DIOZES CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.F Crokis the free kick. In the 69th minute, Baiardo Serena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the LOS DIOZES CF defense, Baiardo Serena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cordeal Mayor. The LOS DIOZES CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cordeal Mayor should have stopped the shot. Cordeal Mayor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasile Morovan in the 76th minute of the match. When Juan-Luis Contratas came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the LOS DIOZES CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan-Luis Contratas couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, C.F Crokis's Jordi Villar got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 92nd minute, Lolo Mezquita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adolfo Valines recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cordeal Mayor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasile Morovan, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. C.F Crokis were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
