Wincenty Major might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan-Alfredo Llorca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wincenty Major ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 13th match minute, CHESTE.C.F was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wincenty Major to maneuver through the defense. Wasyl Brytan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis-Javier Aguado, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Ekain Diez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quinto Marcilla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan-Alfredo Llorca having to make a save. If Quinto Marcilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CHESTE.C.F's Wasyl Brytan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Fuente in the 37th minute of play. After 41st play minutes Ekain Diez shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Juan-Alfredo Llorca and just under the crossbar into goal. Ekain Diez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan-Alfredo Llorca having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luis-Javier Aguado to make the kick off. In the 57th minute of the match Celta de vino FC got a corner. CHESTE.C.F's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eduardo Hernandez ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Rai Mayor to score against Wasyl Brytan in CHESTE.C.F's goal. 1-2 after 58 minutes. When Ekain Diez came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the CHESTE.C.F fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ekain Diez couldn't finish the play. After 63 played minutes Celta de vino FC got a freekick which was hit by Rai Mayor. If Wincenty Major had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wasyl Brytan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis-Javier Aguado, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 75 minutes into the match, Celta de vino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ekain Diez came free, but Juan-Alfredo Llorca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yuri Fuente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Wasyl Brytan made a huge save. Celta de vino FC's Luis-Javier Aguado got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CHESTE.C.F's Wasyl Brytan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save CHESTE.C.F from getting a goal against them. Juan-Alfredo Llorca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ekain Diez in the 90th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Yuri Fuente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Celta de vino FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Yuri Fuente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wasyl Brytan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 97th minute, Ekain Diez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
