When Tanel Maasar fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cordoba CF's protests and gave Tanel Maasar a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cordoba CF getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Tanel Maasar hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casildo Coya in the 71st minute of play forced Cordoba CF's goalkeeper Francis Diaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bienvenido Verges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bautista Cabrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bienvenido Verges, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. If Tadeo Quintas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the TARGOVISTE defense, Bienvenido Verges kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bautista Cabrera. The TARGOVISTE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bautista Cabrera should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tadeo Quintas in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bautista Cabrera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Bienvenido Verges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Sierra struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Bautista Cabrera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cordoba CF.
