After 9 played minutes Arguisal CF got a freekick which was hit by Jerrald Colillas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toro Cameno in the 10th minute of play forced Arguisal CF's goalkeeper Barros Galego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Arguisal CF booed when Portman FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arbas Villafane didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gení Lozano in the 14th minute of play forced Portman FC's goalkeeper Florentino Quesada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaizko Campos's late challenge caught a Arguisal CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaizko Campos helped the player get up and apologised. Gaizko Campos kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toro Cameno in the 18th minute of play forced Arguisal CF's goalkeeper Barros Galego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natal Mezquita in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Barros Galego, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Natal Mezquita struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. With a little luck, Arguisal CF's Barros Galego got control of the ball when Natal Mezquita tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Arguisal CF's zone, Toro Cameno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barros Galego came out of the goal and Toro Cameno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute of the match, Toro Cameno tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Barros Galego saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Toro Cameno was the one to do the kick off. Natal Mezquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Barros Galego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gení Lozano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaizko Campos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Barros Galego. Arguisal CF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Toro Cameno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Barros Galego having to make a save. Natal Mezquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 played minutes Portman FC got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Pedraza. A hard shot 84 in the game by Gení Lozano from a close distance when the talented Florentino Quesada managed to make a qualified save. Portman FC's players were relieved. 95 minutes into the match, Arguisal CF's goal looked a bit too open when Toro Cameno came free, but Barros Galego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
