In the 10th minute, Gonsalve Griego ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Feliu Villar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The supporters of Hijes booed when DREAM TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Etor Muelas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oihan Rapado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gonsalve Griego got free with Feliu Villar in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute, Gonsalve Griego left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DREAM TEAM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 28th minute, Manel Cambero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Feliu Villar. The goal made the score 5-0. Oihan Rapado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ruben Casero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arlo Navas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruben Casero having to make a save. Ruben Casero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oihan Rapado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oihan Rapado struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Ruben Casero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hijes. If Arlo Navas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Manel Cambero made the kick off in the second half. Oihan Rapado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruben Casero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Feliu Villar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonsalve Griego in the 85th minute of play forced Hijes's goalkeeper Feliu Villar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arlo Navas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Casero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oihan Rapado in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute Reinaldo Madariaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliu Villar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oihan Rapado hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonsalve Griego in the 93rd minute of play forced Hijes's goalkeeper Feliu Villar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hijes's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because DREAM TEAM had won, even though Hijes had held more of the ball.
