Real Club Huelva's Gaston Torres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Real Club Huelva from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gorri Palomares in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruben Casero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Manel Cambero took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Gaston Torres to make any attempt to save it. Gaston Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Etor Muelas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gorri Palomares in the 38th minute of play forced DREAM TEAM's goalkeeper Ruben Casero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Patxi Amorebieta put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ruben Casero. 45 minutes into the match, DREAM TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Gorri Palomares came free, but Ruben Casero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patxi Amorebieta made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Patxi Amorebieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, Reinaldo Madariaga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaston Torres.
