Israel Navas came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rodolfo Losada could save by the left post. 22 minutes into the match, Fliz Barba notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Sporting Fuenlabreño C.F.'s Florencio Velazquez. Florencio Velazquez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Altea la Vieja C.F.'s Fliz Barba got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Alfredo Prieto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Florencio Velazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramón Clemente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alfredo Prieto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Israel Navas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodolfo Losada was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When Israel Navas came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Sporting Fuenlabreño C.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Israel Navas couldn't finish the play. Israel Navas came free with the goalkeeper in the 48th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rodolfo Losada could save by the left post. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramón Clemente made a kick off. Fliz Barba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Velazquez having to interfere. Fliz Barba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Florencio Velazquez made a huge save. The Sporting Fuenlabreño C.F. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Florencio Velazquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Diez, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sporting Fuenlabreño C.F. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Altea la Vieja C.F. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
