Tito Cabada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pericles Vilanova, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute of the match, Aloisio Baeza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Valentín Sánchez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fidencio Prieto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Tito Cabada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pericles Vilanova had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Tito Cabada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pericles Vilanova, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Tito Cabada didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pericles Vilanova went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Eufrasio Losantos hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Peaky Blinders CF defense, Fidencio Prieto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tito Cabada. The Peaky Blinders CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tito Cabada should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Eguilaz CF booed when Peaky Blinders CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezker Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Eguilaz CF's Pericles Vilanova in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Peaky Blinders CF were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Eguilaz CF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gaspar Serrano took the corner. The corner led Peaky Blinders CF's Eufrasio Losantos to fire away a dangerous shot which Valentín Sánchez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Valentín Sánchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aloisio Baeza in the 79th minute of play. Fidencio Prieto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Tito Cabada made a huge save. After 81 played minutes Peaky Blinders CF got a freekick which was hit by Matxin Sirvent. Pericles Vilanova's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tito Cabada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Eguilaz CF's Valentín Sánchez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matxin Sirvent in the 94th minute of play. With his leg Tito Cabada managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Eguilaz CF's Fidencio Prieto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Eguilaz CF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
