Esquipula Odín tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Villasevil CD's zone, Urbano Iglesias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esquipula Odín came out of the goal and Urbano Iglesias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cipriano Solo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Esquipula Odín tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Villasevil CD's zone, Santiago Soto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esquipula Odín came out of the goal and Santiago Soto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Gustavo Contratas fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Formiche Bajo AFC's protests and gave Gustavo Contratas a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Formiche Bajo AFC's Gustavo Contratas got a free kick in the 20th minute. Esquipula Odín showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Solo in the 25th minute of the match. If Santiago Soto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Solo struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Esquipula Odín didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Formiche Bajo AFC. In the 34th minute, Troy Carballido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aire Abasalo in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco-Antonio Nunez saved Formiche Bajo AFC from getting behind. Santiago Soto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esquipula Odín having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Epifanio Canturri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esquipula Odín acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 48th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dalmu Martin. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xurde Acha made a kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Santiago Soto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Formiche Bajo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santiago Soto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Cipriano Solo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Formiche Bajo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Solo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esquipula Odín breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cipriano Solo's late challenge caught a Villasevil CD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cipriano Solo helped the player get up and apologised. Aire Abasalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Marco-Antonio Nunez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Formiche Bajo AFC's Marco-Antonio Nunez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xurde Acha in the 64th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Villasevil CD's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Solo came free, but Esquipula Odín reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esquipula Odín took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Solo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Santiago Soto came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Formiche Bajo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santiago Soto couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Solo in the 92nd minute of play forced Villasevil CD's goalkeeper Esquipula Odín to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th match minute, Formiche Bajo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Troy Carballido to maneuver through the defense. Formiche Bajo AFC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
