In the 21st minute, Langileros's Hector-Luis Calderon seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Hector-Luis Calderon the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Langileros protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hector-Luis Calderon had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Langileros:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of elvenar:s goal. The referee gave elvenar a penalty, 23 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Adelio Garcia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Langileros's Turi Campello. 0-1. Isidro Cifuentes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauricio Camino in the 27th minute. After 30 played minutes elvenar got a freekick which was hit by Graciano Ponce. Agustín Valverde, 31 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. After 41 played minutes Langileros got a freekick which was hit by Juan-Francisco Garrido. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Miliano Benedicto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Cifuentes having to interfere. Miliano Benedicto took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isidro Cifuentes. Isidro Cifuentes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Although Langileros had been in control for most of the match, elvenar still came away with the win.
