But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mancio Herrera couldn't finish the play. Mancio Herrera made a great header on P.D. Rayo Duero's corner, it was just that Pallaruelo De Monegros's Máximo Astudillo managed to reach the ball for a save. Máximo Astudillo came out of the goal and Mancio Herrera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. P.D. Rayo Duero played a much better game than Pallaruelo De Monegros and deserved their victory. The Pallaruelo De Monegros players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
