Peli Alonso was left in no man's land by his defense there! The throw-in from Julio Nueva in the 19th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Club futbol Cardona's Anxelu Alabern. In the 26th play minute Abelardo Benito came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Domingo Armada. 2-1. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Abelardo Costa put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Peli Alonso. Abelardo Benito kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abelardo Costa in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peli Alonso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abelardo Benito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abelardo Benito was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 45th minute. Club futbol Cardona's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 46 minutes into the match, C.D Mensajero's goal looked a bit too open when Jerrold De Paula came free, but Domingo Armada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abelardo Benito in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domingo Armada saved C.D Mensajero from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Severo Bellido lost his temper 54 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Club futbol Cardona a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fernando Abascal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of C.D Mensajero's Domingo Armada. 4-2. Domingo Armada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Benito in the 62nd minute of the match. Aitor Pedriza's late challenge caught a C.D Mensajero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aitor Pedriza helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of C.D Mensajero booed when Club futbol Cardona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aitor Pedriza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingo Armada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Benito in the 70th minute of the match. Mateo Solano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Nueva's late challenge caught a Club futbol Cardona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Nueva helped the player get up and apologised. After 80 played minutes C.D Mensajero got a freekick which was hit by Julio Nueva. If Abelardo Benito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute Fernando Abascal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Armada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th match minute, C.D Mensajero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Solano to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of C.D Mensajero booed when Club futbol Cardona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adán Toledo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute Abelardo Benito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Armada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Many of C.D Mensajero's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. C.D Mensajero may have spent more time on the ball, but Club futbol Cardona were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
