In the 3rd minute Paulo Albizua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iago Landa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, Paulo Albizua made a precise shot to the right of Iago Landa. Puerto de Sagunto FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Tabb Irureta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Lalla Herrera made a huge save. In the 13th minute Cortez Vega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lalla Herrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15thth minute of the game Blanco Gomar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Puerto de Sagunto FC's Iago Landa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Blanco Gomar in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iago Landa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valentín Cabrera charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentín Cabrera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute, Paulo Albizua got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Puerto de Sagunto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Albizua came free, but Iago Landa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentín Cabrera hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Blanco Gomar might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iago Landa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Blanco Gomar ran back to his position shaking his head. Iago Landa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blanco Gomar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Puerto de Sagunto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Blanco Gomar came free, but Iago Landa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Industrias FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Cutberto Veloso hit a great ball. Puerto de Sagunto FC were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Industrias FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcos Izquierdo took the corner. Marcos Izquierdo made a great header on Puerto de Sagunto FC's corner, it was just that Industrias FC's Lalla Herrera managed to reach the ball for a save. Marcos Izquierdo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lalla Herrera. Industrias FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After the first half Industrias FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of Puerto de Sagunto FC booed when Industrias FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cutberto Veloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Paulo Albizua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Blanco Gomar came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Industrias FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blanco Gomar couldn't finish the play. Iago Landa made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Paulo Albizua sent off a good shot on target. Puerto de Sagunto FC's Iago Landa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blanco Gomar in the 66th minute of play. Tabb Irureta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lalla Herrera having to interfere. In the 73rd match minute, Industrias FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Albizua to maneuver through the defense. If Blanco Gomar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 81 minutes, Paulo Albizua managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Industrias FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Albizua was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Industrias FC's Iago Landa threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Blanco Gomar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Blanco Gomar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blanco Gomar hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
