After 23 minutes, Nemesio Bouzas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RCDEspanyol and the LiiiKeeWoowwwW players grew even worse after the yellow card. Urtungo Verdeja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iraitz Grau charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iraitz Grau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, RCDEspanyol's Iraitz Grau got a free kick in the 30th minute. Reinaldo Nueva lost his temper 39 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of LiiiKeeWoowwwW:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of RCDEspanyol:s goal. If Urtungo Verdeja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilesindo Planes struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Casimiro Fuster didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LiiiKeeWoowwwW. Ramos Figueroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Loren Dagora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The LiiiKeeWoowwwW players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. RCDEspanyol were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramos Figueroa made a kick off. After 53 played minutes LiiiKeeWoowwwW got a freekick which was hit by Ulryk Grajewski. In the 54th minute, Ramos Figueroa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th match minute, LiiiKeeWoowwwW was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herminio Feal to maneuver through the defense. RCDEspanyol's Casimiro Fuster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Feal in the 63rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Sofronio Urbina managed to get in a good position for a shot. RCDEspanyol's supporters rose to their feet, but Sofronio Urbina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Loren Dagora breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 75 minutes, Urtungo Verdeja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LiiiKeeWoowwwW's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urtungo Verdeja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The RCDEspanyol fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when RCDEspanyol's Ramos Figueroa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Carlitos De la Torre struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Loren Dagora didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RCDEspanyol. In the 88th minute, Jose-Manuel Turienzo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casimiro Fuster was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After some careless play in the RCDEspanyol defense, Urtungo Verdeja kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casimiro Fuster. The RCDEspanyol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casimiro Fuster should have stopped the shot. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
