Encinares FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Germán Sacristán was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Llope Varela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 15 played minutes, Polituara's Anxo Portillo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Meder Cardeñosa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Polituara reached it. After 15 minutes, Barea Torres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Encinares FC and the Polituara players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Encinares FC's Barea Torres got a free kick in the 16th minute. Pello Candela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Polituara booed when Encinares FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fe Villar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ekhi Barrientos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Encinares FC's goalkeeper Meder Cardeñosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Polituara's Llope Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ekhi Barrientos in the 27th minute of play. Meder Cardeñosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pello Candela in the 39th minute of the match. Germán Sacristán received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Llope Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Llope Varela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Polituara's Llope Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germán Sacristán in the 58th minute of play. Encinares FC:s Meder Cardeñosa showed great skill when he stopped René Navarro:s penalty. 66 minutes into the match, Polituara's goal looked a bit too open when Ekhi Barrientos came free, but Llope Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Polituara getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Cordarell Amer hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Ekhi Barrientos managed to get in a good position for a shot. After a defensive mix-up in Polituara's zone, Ekhi Barrientos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Llope Varela came out of the goal and Ekhi Barrientos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 93rd minute of the match Barea Torres completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Barea Torres a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Barea Torres hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Encinares FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Polituara had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
