After some careless play in the Polituara defense, Tito Mora kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Llope Varela. The Polituara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Llope Varela should have stopped the shot. Llope Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tito Mora in the 8th minute of play. Llope Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Cordarell Amer charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cordarell Amer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th minute, Cordarell Amer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stoke Az's Quin Bermudez got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Loren Macho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cebrián Sacristán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pello Candela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Loren Macho made a huge save. The Polituara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Llope Varela should have stopped the shot. The Stoke Az fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Stoke Az's Tito Mora looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cordarell Amer hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Filomeno Barral scored 0-4 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Llope Varela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Polituara's Llope Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tito Mora in the 45th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Haimar Bravo during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Polituara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haimar Bravo to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tito Mora in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Llope Varela saved Polituara from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tito Mora to make the kick off. Polituara's Llope Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tito Mora in the 51st minute of play. Filomeno Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tito Mora might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Llope Varela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tito Mora ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Polituara's goalkeeper Llope Varela, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stoke Az's Quin Bermudez got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucas Garay lost his temper 64 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Polituara. René Navarro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Loren Macho. 1-4. Quin Bermudez might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Llope Varela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Quin Bermudez ran back to his position shaking his head. Quin Bermudez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llope Varela having to interfere. After 77 played minutes Stoke Az got a freekick which was hit by Reyes Helguera. A collision led to Polituara getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Galindo Infante hit a great ball. Baldovino Checa succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-5 in the 87th playminute. 91 minutes into the game, Polituara's Cebrián Sacristán nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Loren Macho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Pello Candela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loren Macho having to interfere. When the match was over Stoke Az could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Polituara throughout the match.
