After 11 minutes of play, Llano De San Jose SD's Ceferino Puig made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saul Ibanez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Quirce Herrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xuoco Ponte in the 15th minute of the match. Gaizka Rosas lost his temper 16 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 16th minute, one of Vicorto SAD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vicorto SAD. Saul Ibanez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Cameno in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute Duarte Cameno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Ibanez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Vicorto SAD defense, Albino Marines kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saul Ibanez. The Vicorto SAD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saul Ibanez should have stopped the shot. Saul Ibanez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albino Marines went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Quirce Herrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xuoco Ponte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Florinio Gimeno came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Vicorto SAD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florinio Gimeno couldn't finish the play. In the 39th match minute, Llano De San Jose SD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Garrido to maneuver through the defense. Saul Ibanez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Marines in the 42nd minute of play. Florinio Gimeno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Quirce Herrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte Cameno in the 46th minute of play forced Vicorto SAD's goalkeeper Saul Ibanez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Llano De San Jose SD were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Vicorto SAD's Florinio Gimeno in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Llano De San Jose SD's goalie prevented a goal. In the 56th minute, Florinio Gimeno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Llano De San Jose SD's zone, Florinio Gimeno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quirce Herrera came out of the goal and Florinio Gimeno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute of the match Leizarraga Campello shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Quirce Herrera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Albino Marines had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saul Ibanez. Vicorto SAD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albino Marines was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. After having played for 68 minutes, Duarte Cameno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Llano De San Jose SD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duarte Cameno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saul Ibanez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albino Marines in the 70th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Llano De San Jose SD's zone, Florinio Gimeno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quirce Herrera came out of the goal and Florinio Gimeno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 74 minutes into the game, Duarte Cameno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Saul Ibanez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Llano De San Jose SD's Jeremias Yeste was substituted for Iván Rosas. After 78 played minutes Vicorto SAD got a freekick which was hit by Leizarraga Campello. The audience thought a goal was coming when Duarte Cameno got free with Saul Ibanez in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
