The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kiko Rosario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pere Harroyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. TOSA's Kiko Rosario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Mata in the 6th minute of play. Kiko Rosario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute, TOSA's Ereinotz Villalcazar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 11th minute Polifemo Vilanova shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kiko Rosario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute Dionisio Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kiko Rosario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kiko Rosario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Polifemo Vilanova, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Ereinotz Villalcazar ran back to his position shaking his head. Angelines Rapado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Efren Briso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ereinotz Villalcazar in the 25th minute of play. With his leg Efren Briso managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when TOSA's Ereinotz Villalcazar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 33rd minute, Angelines Rapado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vaden Acedo kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Kiko Rosario didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Polifemo Vilanova went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Polifemo Vilanova to strike the kick off in the second half. Vigil Buenafuente was slow to take the kick. During this time TOSA's players had a chance to rest. Vigil Buenafuente made a great header on TOSA's corner, it was just that Tarragona FC's Efren Briso managed to reach the ball for a save. 63 minutes into the match, Tarragona FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ereinotz Villalcazar came free, but Efren Briso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Constancio Orbiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 68 played minutes Tarragona FC got a freekick which was hit by Vaden Acedo. TOSA's Macario Quintana quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Perico Acarreta, made in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 74th minute of the match Macario Quintana shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Efren Briso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 78th minute, Timoteo Mezquita made a precise shot to the right of Efren Briso. Tarragona FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 80th match minute, Tarragona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xaiver Delgado to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ereinotz Villalcazar in the 82nd minute of play forced Tarragona FC's goalkeeper Efren Briso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to TOSA getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Timoteo Mezquita hit a great ball. If Timoteo Mezquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. Constancio Orbiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efren Briso having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Edgardo Mata could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Kiko Rosario however easily saved by the left post. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tarragona FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for TOSA.
