U.D. Almería SAD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Euloxu Valdivia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Roberto Caminero was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 26 minutes into the match. Koldo Titos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 32nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. In the 35th minute Beti Alavedra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pacho Gómez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute of the match, Xinto Bellido got a very nice opportunity to score, but Koldo Titos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Beti Alavedra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pacho Gómez having to interfere. Vincente Borrás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martín Arribas made a kick off. Ramond Casta hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Asier Mangas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pacho Gómez having to interfere. When Beti Alavedra came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Leones de Marcus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beti Alavedra couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in U.D. Almería SAD's zone, Romeo Bouzon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pacho Gómez came out of the goal and Romeo Bouzon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beti Alavedra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pacho Gómez having to make a save. 75 minutes into the match, Leones de Marcus's goal looked a bit too open when Xinto Bellido came free, but Koldo Titos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Beti Alavedra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Koldo Titos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xinto Bellido in the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, U.D. Almería SAD's goalkeeper Pacho Gómez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beti Alavedra. In the 88th minute, Leones de Marcus's Beti Alavedra ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pacho Gómez. Pacho Gómez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Vincente Borrás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pacho Gómez having to interfere. U.D. Almería SAD succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Leones de Marcus had controlled the match.
