SD Rubianes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Donato Barroso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 40 minutes into the match, Alaiza SAD's Reno Rivera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giraldo Romero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fidel Bacete hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Reno Rivera kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Giraldo Romero. That made the score 2-0 in the 46 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reno Rivera made a kick off. Zabal Barral scored 3-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giraldo Romero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Giraldo Romero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reno Rivera went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Reno Rivera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giraldo Romero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play.
