In the 69th minute, Perles CD's Jakes Echeto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Giraldo Romero. Giraldo Romero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Perles CD's Jakes Echeto got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jakes Echeto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 80 minutes into the game, Perles CD's Baudelio Torres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giraldo Romero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Giraldo Romero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baudelio Torres in the 84th minute. Jakes Echeto was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 89th minute. Perles CD's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, SD Rubianes's Fidel Bacete got a free kick in the 90th minute. If Baudelio Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. When the final whistle sounded Perles CD left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SD Rubianes.
