But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barea Segarra couldn't finish the play. Adriano Huerta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adriano Huerta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Zamora having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Adriano Huerta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Adriano Huerta came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Mataro de Mar CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adriano Huerta couldn't finish the play. Adriano Huerta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Patricio Zamora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnalt Taules kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Rayo fc's Barea Segarra got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodor Encina in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduardo Cuervas saved Mataro de Mar CF from getting behind. Teodor Encina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Cuervas having to interfere. In the 68th match minute, Mataro de Mar CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nalo Vagrande to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Teodor Encina made a precise shot to the right of Eduardo Cuervas. Mataro de Mar CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 78th minute, Barea Segarra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Huerta in the 84th minute of play forced Rayo fc's goalkeeper Patricio Zamora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alain Huarte fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rayo fc's protests and gave Alain Huarte a yellow card for diving instead. Alain Huarte kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rayo fc's zone, Arxel Azofra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Zamora came out of the goal and Arxel Azofra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Teodor Encina came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Rayo fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodor Encina couldn't finish the play. The Mataro de Mar CF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
