Spectators: 7293 (Terracing: 5472, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. García Campoamor started the match with the kick off. Blai Valdés came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Aguas Nuevas's Medero Vicente. But to his dismay, Medero Vicente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by García Campoamor in the 13th minute of play forced Aguas Nuevas's goalkeeper Lorenzo Urquijo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Real Unión Guadalquivir's Franco Talavera got a free kick in the 16th minute. Eneas Barrientos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 23 in the game by Txema Flores from a close distance when the talented Lorenzo Urquijo managed to make a qualified save. Aguas Nuevas's players were relieved. If Eneas Barrientos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lorenzo Urquijo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from García Campoamor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the game, Odon Cacheres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Blai Valdés was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42nd minute, Txema Flores made a precise shot to the right of Lorenzo Urquijo. Aguas Nuevas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the last second Lorenzo Urquijo throw himself and got hold of the ball when García Campoamor in the 48thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Medero Vicente to make the kick off. Lorenzo Urquijo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from García Campoamor, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Medero Vicente in the 54th minute of play forced Real Unión Guadalquivir's goalkeeper Blai Valdés to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th match minute, Real Unión Guadalquivir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernat Carreira to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Aguas Nuevas's Medero Vicente sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Blai Valdés narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aguas Nuevas's Medero Vicente got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Txema Flores came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Real Unión Guadalquivir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Txema Flores couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the match, Aguas Nuevas's goal looked a bit too open when García Campoamor came free, but Lorenzo Urquijo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Txema Flores's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lorenzo Urquijo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. The Real Unión Guadalquivir supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Aguas Nuevas's performance. The match ended with a win for Aguas Nuevas.
