Xalbador Pujol might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ignacio Garrido. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xalbador Pujol ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 12 in the game by Adriano Merino from a close distance when the talented Ignacio Garrido managed to make a qualified save. Guadalimar's players were relieved. In the 17th minute, Ventura Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adriano Merino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ignacio Garrido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xalbador Pujol in the 24th minute of the match. Diego Jaen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Unai Teresa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Xalbador Pujol reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ignacio Garrido. The goal made the score 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Xalbador Pujol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute of the match, Diego Jaen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Unai Teresa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. ElGranMejnour's Orlando Ponce got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ignacio Garrido came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by ElGranMejnour's Adriano Merino. But to his dismay, Adriano Merino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. ElGranMejnour's Unai Teresa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save ElGranMejnour from getting a goal against them. After 83 minutes ElGranMejnour's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pericles Solera who took care of the corner kick. Xalbador Pujol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ignacio Garrido came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by ElGranMejnour's Adriano Merino. But to his dismay, Adriano Merino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Guadalimar's zone, Adriano Merino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacio Garrido came out of the goal and Adriano Merino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Xalbador Pujol managed to get in a good position for a shot. ElGranMejnour's supporters rose to their feet, but Xalbador Pujol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignacio Garrido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
