Zarando De Pedro's late challenge caught a Prats's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zarando De Pedro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute 乔翀星 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Guasch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martín Canosa hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, 乔翀星 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prats's supporters crossed their fingers, but 乔翀星 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. During the 63rd minute of the match Zarando De Pedro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Zarando De Pedro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Conrado Jareño during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
