Enrique Casanova recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enrique Casanova fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvino Valerón having to interfere. Cugat Llorente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belarmino Barba in the 20th minute of the match. If Belarmino Barba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentín Balboa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Cugat Llorente made a huge save. In the 36th match minute, CB Ocaña was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Manrique to maneuver through the defense. If Valentín Balboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cugat Llorente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belarmino Barba in the 39th minute of play. With his leg Cugat Llorente managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Peña Deportiva DH Rociera's Valentín Balboa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 45 minutes into the match, Peña Deportiva DH Rociera's Valentín Balboa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cugat Llorente narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Belarmino Barba to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belarmino Barba in the 51st minute of play forced CB Ocaña's goalkeeper Cugat Llorente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute, Severiano Sobera had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Padro Amorebieta's late challenge caught a Peña Deportiva DH Rociera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Padro Amorebieta helped the player get up and apologised. Peña Deportiva DH Rociera's Valentín Balboa got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Belarmino Barba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Cugat Llorente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peña Deportiva DH Rociera's Valentín Balboa got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peña Deportiva DH Rociera's Zeledon Rodriguez got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 79 minutes into the game, Rogelio Manrique recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alvino Valerón. Rogelio Manrique showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Peña Deportiva DH Rociera's Alvino Valerón proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Peña Deportiva DH Rociera from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentín Balboa in the 89th minute of play forced CB Ocaña's goalkeeper Cugat Llorente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvino Valerón made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Silverio Esteban sent off a good shot on target. Cugat Llorente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Larpe Antunez in the 94th minute of play. Larpe Antunez hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
