LORRAINE's Gaitan Olmedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentín Balboa in the 13th minute of play. Gaitan Olmedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belarmino Barba in the 14th minute of the match. Peña Deportiva DH Rociera's Larpe Antunez got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute Belarmino Barba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaitan Olmedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Belarmino Barba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gaitan Olmedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Severiano Sobera went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 31 minutes, Severiano Sobera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Peña Deportiva DH Rociera and the A.S. LORRAINE players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th minute Belarmino Barba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaitan Olmedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Valentín Balboa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaitan Olmedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 45 minutes into the game, Peña Deportiva DH Rociera's Belarmino Barba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaitan Olmedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Belarmino Barba made a kick off. Gaitan Olmedo made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Valentín Balboa sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, A.S. LORRAINE's García Verges got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Lekumberri Maroto took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvino Valerón. Alvino Valerón dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Valentín Balboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Gaitan Olmedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Belarmino Barba came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Peña Deportiva DH Rociera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Belarmino Barba couldn't finish the play. If Belarmino Barba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentín Balboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Belarmino Barba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Gaitan Olmedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Belarmino Barba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaitan Olmedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belarmino Barba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belarmino Barba in the 90th minute of play forced A.S. LORRAINE's goalkeeper Gaitan Olmedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Pascual fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvino Valerón having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Peña Deportiva DH Rociera left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than A.S. LORRAINE.
