The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcos Duran scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cugat Llorente, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 7thth minute of the game Crispo Fresnos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CB Ocaña's Cugat Llorente was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 16th minute of the match Kemen Pascual sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fe Cienfuegos skillfully saved the ball. In the 19th minute of the match Chico Riells shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cugat Llorente showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to CB Ocaña getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Padro Amorebieta hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Crispo Fresnos put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Cugat Llorente. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Silverio Esteban sped through Inter de Hospitalet's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fe Cienfuegos. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind CB Ocaña's goalkeeper Cugat Llorente, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcos Duran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Cugat Llorente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in CB Ocaña's zone, Marcos Duran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cugat Llorente came out of the goal and Marcos Duran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Inter de Hospitalet booed when CB Ocaña was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Padro Amorebieta didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Marcos Duran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Inter de Hospitalet were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Crispo Fresnos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Padro Amorebieta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CB Ocaña and the Inter de Hospitalet players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Marcos Duran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter de Hospitalet's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Duran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cugat Llorente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 66 minutes, Crispo Fresnos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter de Hospitalet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Crispo Fresnos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fe Cienfuegos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Casanova in the 71st minute of play. In the 74th minute, Crispo Fresnos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Crispo Fresnos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Cugat Llorente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cugat Llorente made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Marcos Duran sent off a good shot on target. Inter de Hospitalet's Marcos Duran got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th match minute, CB Ocaña was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hussein Sampil to maneuver through the defense. After 86 played minutes Inter de Hospitalet got a freekick which was hit by Pericles Alabern. Marcos Duran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Cugat Llorente made a huge save. In the 92nd minute, Arnalt Esteban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, CB Ocaña's Hussein Sampil broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 94th match minute, Inter de Hospitalet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnalt Esteban to maneuver through the defense. If Silverio Esteban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
