Urnieta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nerpio the free kick. A collision led to Urnieta getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Rolando Gonzalvez hit a great ball. Alfonso Medina struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Tacito Paris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nerpio. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peio Quintanilla made a kick off. Xantalen Espinosa came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Urnieta's Peio Quintanilla. But to his dismay, Peio Quintanilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Galeno Sobera charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peio Quintanilla in the 84th minute of play forced Nerpio's goalkeeper Xantalen Espinosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 84 minutes, Lonzo Castillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nerpio and the Urnieta players grew even worse after the yellow card.
