After a defensive mix-up in OKC's zone, Benjamin Sabina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boni Folch came out of the goal and Benjamin Sabina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pio Quijana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Boni Folch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The OKC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Pio Quijana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Benjamin Sabina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gabino Salan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jordi Garzon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maureo Barroso in the 42nd minute of play. Olayo Buenafuente charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olayo Buenafuente the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes OKC got a freekick which was hit by Olayo Buenafuente. After the first half OKC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maureo Barroso was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute Maureo Barroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordi Garzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Lleida Esportiu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florin Santalla to maneuver through the defense. After 62 played minutes Lleida Esportiu got a freekick which was hit by Florin Santalla. 65 minutes into the match, Napoleón Helguera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jordi Garzon. Lleida Esportiu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Napoleón Helguera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Boni Folch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pio Quijana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maureo Barroso in the 71st minute of play forced Lleida Esportiu's goalkeeper Jordi Garzon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Pio Quijana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boni Folch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Benjamin Sabina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maureo Barroso in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jordi Garzon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Florin Santalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
