García Ibanez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Karmel Avila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Hitzeder Cartagena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karmel Avila. Almudema AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hitzeder Cartagena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 19th minute, García Ibanez made a precise shot to the right of Karmel Avila. Almudema AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Berbiz Crespo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karmel Avila having to make a save. After 30 minutes, Juan Rua mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Industrias Minra and the Almudema AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Industrias Minra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rua to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute García Ibanez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karmel Avila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard, long distance shot from Bartolo Garrido flew over the goal. After some careless play in the Almudema AD defense, Omar Teruel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karmel Avila. The Almudema AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karmel Avila should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaspar Freire made a kick off. Karmel Avila was a little too slow when Bartolo Garrido got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Almudema AD's zone, Berbiz Crespo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karmel Avila came out of the goal and Berbiz Crespo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, García Ibanez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Industrias Minra's supporters rose to their feet, but García Ibanez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karmel Avila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Macario Urquijo charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Macario Urquijo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Industrias Minra booed when Almudema AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macario Urquijo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hitzeder Cartagena in the 72nd minute of play forced Almudema AD's goalkeeper Karmel Avila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Almudema AD's Karmel Avila got control of the ball when Berbiz Crespo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Industrias Minra were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Almudema AD's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juan Rua took the corner. Industrias Minra's Juan Rua was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Karmel Avila in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 81 played minutes Almudema AD got a freekick which was hit by Quin Ecija. Karmel Avila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from García Ibanez, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. With a little luck, Almudema AD's Karmel Avila got control of the ball when Berbiz Crespo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Eufemio Radaban was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Almudema AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Industrias Minra the free kick. After a rather tough play, Almudema AD's Eufemio Radaban got a free kick in the 87th minute. Karmel Avila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from García Ibanez in the 89th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute García Ibanez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karmel Avila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Almudema AD's goalkeeper Karmel Avila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Berbiz Crespo. Industrias Minra's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
