In the 4th minute, Fano CF's Sokratis Papastathopoulos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ricardo Quintanilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xacintu Pedriza's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. If Xacintu Pedriza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Wisła Płock's goalkeeper Ricardo Quintanilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evelio Ranolfo. Xacintu Pedriza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Quintanilla having to interfere. After having played for 21 minutes, Anselmo Gómez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fano CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Gómez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sokratis Papastathopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Quintanilla having to interfere. With a little luck, Wisła Płock's Ricardo Quintanilla got control of the ball when Severino Urko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fano CF's Sokratis Papastathopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wisła Płock's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Xacintu Pedriza scored to the left of an out of position Ricardo Quintanilla, making the score, 2-0. Wisła Płock's Andrés Leon got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sokratis Papastathopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ricardo Quintanilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Anselmo Gómez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wisła Płock's Ricardo Quintanilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Wisła Płock from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Milio Fernandez was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Fano CF booed when Wisła Płock was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Sabina didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd minute, Severino Urko made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Quintanilla. Wisła Płock's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Andrés Leon was extremely unlucky when he, in the 59th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Modesto Sabina fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wisła Płock's protests and gave Modesto Sabina a yellow card for diving instead. After 62 played minutes Wisła Płock got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Sabina. When Fano CF's Xacintu Pedriza in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wisła Płock's goalie prevented a goal. Fano CF's Xacintu Pedriza got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ricardo Quintanilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xacintu Pedriza in the 69th minute of the match. Sokratis Papastathopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Ricardo Quintanilla came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Fano CF's Anselmo Gómez. But to his dismay, Anselmo Gómez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Xacintu Pedriza took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Quintanilla. Ricardo Quintanilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severino Urko during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Indalecio Garzon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Wisła Płock's Ricardo Quintanilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xacintu Pedriza in the 89th minute of play. Ricardo Quintanilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xacintu Pedriza's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Xacintu Pedriza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ricardo Quintanilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Fano CF had played much better football throughout.
