Berdaitz Medina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Quico Zubiaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mendebal Portillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Quico Zubiaga went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Berdaitz Medina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Taio Barrios in the 30th minute. After having played for 35 minutes, Galo Cuadrado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dimo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Galo Cuadrado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Dimo getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Txema Jurado hit a great ball. The supporters of Dimo booed when Marfagones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauro Gibert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46thth minute of the game Galo Cuadrado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marfagones's Mendebal Portillo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Marfagones's zone, Galo Cuadrado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mendebal Portillo came out of the goal and Galo Cuadrado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Quico Zubiaga in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mendebal Portillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Berdaitz Medina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taio Barrios in the 54th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Quico Zubiaga put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Mendebal Portillo. Galo Cuadrado might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mendebal Portillo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Galo Cuadrado ran back to his position shaking his head. Giorgio Guerrero charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giorgio Guerrero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Giorgio Guerrero kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Berdaitz Medina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pau Zapater, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Taio Barrios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Marfagones booed when Dimo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Montay Llorente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marfagones's Mendebal Portillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Marfagones from getting a goal against them. Txema Jurado's late challenge caught a Marfagones's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Txema Jurado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st minute, Hipolito Tormes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Taio Barrios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Galo Cuadrado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Mendebal Portillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Dimo's Quico Zubiaga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mendebal Portillo. That made the score 1-3 after 97 minutes of play.
