Spectators: 6472 (Terracing: 5472, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Elixio Idiaquez started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Leal Pujol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Tomelloso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malanyeu the free kick. In the 3rd minute, Leal Pujol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Leal Pujol came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the UD Tomelloso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leal Pujol couldn't finish the play. Giorgio Nunez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Velazquez in the 10th minute of play. Leal Pujol was extremely unlucky when he, in the 13th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Yiyo Pedrosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efren Calatayud having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elixio Idiaquez in the 21st minute of play forced UD Tomelloso's goalkeeper Efren Calatayud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-1 became the score in the 25th minute when Elixio Idiaquez elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Malanyeu's Elixio Idiaquez in 29 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Efren Calatayud guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Elixio Idiaquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Efren Calatayud read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. If Ramiro Velazquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramiro Velazquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgio Nunez having to interfere. Leal Pujol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Leal Pujol fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. UD Tomelloso's Efren Calatayud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elixio Idiaquez in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Ramiro Velazquez made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Leal Pujol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yiyo Pedrosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Yiyo Pedrosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st match minute, Malanyeu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neto Villafane to maneuver through the defense. Malanyeu's Giorgio Nunez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Velazquez in the 64th minute of play. Ramiro Velazquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yiyo Pedrosa scored 0-2 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Efren Calatayud, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72nd match minute, UD Tomelloso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bras Ledo to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, UD Tomelloso's goal looked a bit too open when Elixio Idiaquez came free, but Efren Calatayud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Yiyo Pedrosa could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Efren Calatayud however easily saved by the left post. Giorgio Nunez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramiro Velazquez's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. After having played for 89 minutes, Yiyo Pedrosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malanyeu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yiyo Pedrosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Elixio Idiaquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Malanyeu walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
