Zeru Diaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batista Ribeiro in the 6th minute of the match. The supporters of Menawinger booed when Residencial Venecia AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joselito Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Menawinger's Mero Fuente got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Iñaki Valdivia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zeru Diaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joselito Rubio, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 32nd minute, Bautista Mayol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute, Joselito Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Batista Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Residencial Venecia AFC's Orlan Leon got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Batista Ribeiro in the 42nd minute of play forced Menawinger's goalkeeper Zeru Diaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orlan Leon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeru Diaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Batista Ribeiro's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Zeru Diaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batista Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dalmau Dorado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Batista Ribeiro struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Zeru Diaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Residencial Venecia AFC. Lazaro Nunez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Belarmino Colillas in the 60th minute. The audience was convinced that Belarmino Colillas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lazaro Nunez was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. After having played for 62 minutes, Mero Fuente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Menawinger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mero Fuente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mero Fuente who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Lazaro Nunez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 69 minutes into the match, Residencial Venecia AFC's Batista Ribeiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zeru Diaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Menawinger's Mero Fuente got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Batista Ribeiro notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Menawinger's Zeru Diaz. Zeru Diaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lazaro Nunez came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Menawinger's Mero Fuente. But to his dismay, Mero Fuente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Residencial Venecia AFC's Lazaro Nunez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Residencial Venecia AFC from getting a goal against them. When Mero Fuente came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Menawinger fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mero Fuente couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute, Manolo Rodriguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmau Dorado in the 96th minute of play forced Residencial Venecia AFC's goalkeeper Lazaro Nunez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
