After a defensive mix-up in Pelipepinho's zone, Sotero Gene stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leoncio Pedriza came out of the goal and Sotero Gene tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Pelipepinho's Román Vila in the 6th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Fermín Quijana was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Saci Perneta Futebol Club through an amazing save. Sotero Gene recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saci Perneta Futebol Club's Ofelio Correa got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leoncio Pedriza had in the 19thth minute some difficulties stopping Diagur Erosa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 19th minute, Diagur Erosa made a precise shot to the right of Leoncio Pedriza. Pelipepinho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Román Vila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Saci Perneta Futebol Club's Juan Amer got a free kick in the 24th minute. If Román Vila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugenio Morientes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leoncio Pedriza. Pelipepinho's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Saci Perneta Futebol Club's Ofelio Correa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leoncio Pedriza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leoncio Pedriza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sotero Gene, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Fermín Quijana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Román Vila in the 46th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Saci Perneta Futebol Club defense, Román Vila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fermín Quijana. The Saci Perneta Futebol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fermín Quijana should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sotero Gene stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pelipepinho's Leoncio Pedriza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sotero Gene in the 55th minute of play. In the 64th minute of the match Guillermo Reyes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leoncio Pedriza skillfully saved the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Saci Perneta Futebol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Rosalio Cainzos came free, but Fermín Quijana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rosalio Cainzos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fermín Quijana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Román Vila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sotero Gene's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leoncio Pedriza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Ofelio Correa might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leoncio Pedriza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ofelio Correa ran back to his position shaking his head. Pelipepinho's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
