Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 18 minutes, Aquiles Sainz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villarreal United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquiles Sainz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ramón Mas might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Charro Baños. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ramón Mas ran back to his position shaking his head. Charro Baños took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Sainz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aquiles Sainz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charro Baños having to interfere. If Aquiles Sainz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aquiles Sainz ran back to his position shaking his head. When Anibal Teresa fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peronistas's protests and gave Anibal Teresa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th match minute, Peronistas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anibal Teresa to maneuver through the defense. Lucian Dobale took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Charro Baños. Charro Baños dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Peronistas's Juan-Alfredo Japón got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Charro Baños came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Villarreal United's Aquiles Sainz. But to his dismay, Aquiles Sainz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

The audience was convinced that Aquiles Sainz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Charro Baños was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. In the 56th minute, Anibal Teresa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charro Baños was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aquiles Sainz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 57 minute of play. Villarreal United's Emesto Puig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan-Alfredo Japón in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute Aquiles Sainz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charro Baños saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ramón Mas came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Villarreal United fans jumped to their feet. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 77 minutes of play, Villarreal United's Iago Campoamor made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charro Baños was left in no man's land by his defense there! Villarreal United's Boris Hasbulatov was substituted for Lucian Dobale. If Boris Hasbulatov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th play minute Aquiles Sainz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Charro Baños. 0-6. Charro Baños showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Sainz in the 93rd minute of the match. Boris Hasbulatov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charro Baños having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Villarreal United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Peronistas.
