Valchillon's Rosalio Noya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis-Alfredo Jurado in the 13th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Eneko Alcalde kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cordareo Marin. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. Natanael Abellan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Monte Alto AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! Cordareo Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eneko Alcalde, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Cordareo Marin didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 27th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. In the 32nd minute Blanco Elguero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosalio Noya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 played minutes, Monte Alto AFC's Alfronso Bouzon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rosalio Noya came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Monte Alto AFC reached it. Rosalio Noya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patxi Ortiz in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Valchillon's Eneko Alcalde got a free kick in the 71st minute. Cordareo Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eneko Alcalde, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Alfronso Bouzon was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 77 minutes into the match. Monte Alto AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Natanael Abellan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Alex Mendez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cordareo Marin having to interfere. Cordareo Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eneko Alcalde in the 89th minute of play. Rosalio Noya was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luis-Alfredo Jurado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 92 minute of play. If Blanco Elguero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valchillon's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
