With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bibiano Canal in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severiano Ortega saved Frankfurt United from getting behind. In the 16th minute, Urbano Pedraza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18thth minute of the game Bibiano Canal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frankfurt United's Severiano Ortega was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21st minute, Bibiano Canal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Frankfurt United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SAN MAMED C.F S.A.D.:s goal. Arnulfo Portillo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Bibiano Canal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Mikel Mudarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Puyol, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Mikel Mudarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sarracino Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Bibiano Canal made a precise shot to the right of Severiano Ortega. Frankfurt United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Bibiano Canal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. But to his dismay, Ismael Diaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. A collision led to SAN MAMED C.F S.A.D. getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Egun Solera hit a great ball. Mikel Mudarra made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Sarracino Barbosa sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 71 minutes, Bibiano Canal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frankfurt United's Severiano Ortega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bibiano Canal in the 77th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bibiano Canal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severiano Ortega was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. 82 minutes into the match, SAN MAMED C.F S.A.D.'s goal looked a bit too open when Unai Montes came free, but Mikel Mudarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute of the match Felipo Alavedra shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Severiano Ortega showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 87th minute, Izar Soto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SAN MAMED C.F S.A.D.'s Normando Jofre was substituted for Ismael Diaz. Felipo Alavedra hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. If Sérgio Moutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
