Spectators: 7371 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Angelino Laredo kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind silla cf's goalkeeper Oriol Ribeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Marin Campomanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oriol Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Murcia in the 8th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes silla cf got a freekick which was hit by Espiridion Segarra. If Horacio Murcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomi Morientes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Espiridion Segarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oriol Ribeiro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 18th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alanzo Iglesias. After 22 minutes, Espiridion Segarra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the silla cf and the Sevilla F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Duarte Valdivia got free with Oriol Ribeiro in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marin Campomanes struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Tomi Morientes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for silla cf. 38 minutes into the match, Sevilla F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Marin Campomanes came free, but Tomi Morientes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Angelino Laredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angelino Laredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Tomi Morientes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Oriol Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Murcia in the 53rd minute of play. Angelino Laredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marin Campomanes scored 0-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomi Morientes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marin Campomanes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Tomi Morientes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, silla cf's Marin Campomanes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomi Morientes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Angelino Laredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ramón Benítez hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the game, Duarte Valdivia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Oriol Ribeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Horacio Murcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Oriol Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sevilla F.C's Tomi Morientes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Sevilla F.C from getting a goal against them. With his leg Tomi Morientes managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when silla cf's Marin Campomanes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tomi Morientes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. silla cf were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Sevilla F.C to leave the ground with a draw.
