Antolin Teruel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Barcelona's Nesto Llorca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save FC Barcelona from getting a goal against them. Banyoles AFC's Antolin Teruel got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amador Santalla during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Banyoles AFC booed when FC Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Santalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Banyoles AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bero Saboya came free, but Roi Montero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roi Montero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bero Saboya in the 29th minute of play. Nesto Llorca made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Claus Mata sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Claus Mata's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nesto Llorca was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. 37 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goalkeeper Nesto Llorca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antolin Teruel. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emil Zacharek to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Banyoles AFC's Ismael Guasch got a free kick in the 54th minute. A collision led to FC Barcelona getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Marcos Cuadrado hit a great ball. Banyoles AFC's Claus Mata got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claus Mata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Nesto Llorca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 61 played minutes Banyoles AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Guasch. In the 79th minute Antolin Teruel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nesto Llorca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emil Zacharek's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Roi Montero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Banyoles AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
