In the 3rd minute, Brais Fernandez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laredo C.F. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 7 minutes, Máximo Rodriguez made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Bustares's Adán Vuelta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Brun Alcaraz made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Fran Zurica sent off a good shot on target. Bustares's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Urtsin Palanques in the 13th minute. Bustares's Peri Feliu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Brun Alcaraz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A hard shot 16 in the game by Raúl Serena from a close distance when the talented Brun Alcaraz managed to make a qualified save. Laredo C.F.'s players were relieved. In the 19th match minute, Bustares was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jordi Dorado to maneuver through the defense. Laredo C.F.'s Brun Alcaraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ugaitz Garrido in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Laredo C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ugaitz Garrido came free, but Brun Alcaraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Laredo C.F. booed when Bustares was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fran Zurica didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bustares's zone, Brais Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adán Vuelta came out of the goal and Brais Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Máximo Rodriguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adán Vuelta having to interfere. If Lalo Bajo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Máximo Rodriguez in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adán Vuelta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 36 minutes, Brais Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laredo C.F.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Brais Fernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adán Vuelta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Máximo Rodriguez in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Miguel Jaen hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When Orlando Lara fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bustares's protests and gave Orlando Lara a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Laredo C.F. booed when Bustares was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adán Vuelta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Furman Pareja in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute Raúl Serena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brun Alcaraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berto Maldonado lost his temper 59 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Laredo C.F.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bustares:s goal. Brun Alcaraz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Urtsin Palanques went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After 63 minutes, Lalo Bajo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laredo C.F. and the Bustares players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bustares booed when Laredo C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lalo Bajo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brun Alcaraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raúl Serena in the 66th minute of play. Brun Alcaraz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ugaitz Garrido went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 70 minutes into the game, Orlando Lara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Brun Alcaraz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Brun Alcaraz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raúl Serena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Bustares fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Bustares's Jordi Dorado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 80 minutes into the match, Fran Zurica notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Laredo C.F.'s Brun Alcaraz. Brun Alcaraz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ugaitz Garrido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brun Alcaraz having to interfere. When Brais Fernandez came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Laredo C.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brais Fernandez couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute, Raúl Serena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brun Alcaraz was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. Raúl Serena struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Brun Alcaraz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bustares. After a rather tough play, Laredo C.F.'s Brais Fernandez got a free kick in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ugaitz Garrido in the 93rd minute of play forced Laredo C.F.'s goalkeeper Brun Alcaraz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Furman Pareja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adán Vuelta having to interfere. Laredo C.F.'s supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Bustares had won, even though Laredo C.F. had held more of the ball.
