Xelo Silva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elivareo Llorente in the 8th minute. The supporters of Nikos F.C. booed when CLUB ATLÉTICO DE LAGARENA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epicuro Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nestor Rami took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermín Vega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Nikos F.C.'s goalkeeper Xelo Silva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moises Johans. In the 20th minute, Haritz Caminero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fermín Vega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Nestor Rami tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as CLUB ATLÉTICO DE LAGARENA's Normando Ricoy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Xelo Silva. That made the score 2-0 after 25 minutes of play. CLUB ATLÉTICO DE LAGARENA's Elivareo Llorente got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th match minute, Nikos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haritz Caminero to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute Normando Ricoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xelo Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, CLUB ATLÉTICO DE LAGARENA's Normando Ricoy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xelo Silva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Nikos F.C.'s Xelo Silva got control of the ball when Narciso Cortes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nikos F.C.'s Xelo Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Normando Ricoy in the 39th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Narciso Cortes made the kick off in the second half. Normando Ricoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xelo Silva having to interfere. Nikos F.C.'s Fermín Vega got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 67 played minutes Nikos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Morientes. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Narciso Cortes managed to get in a good position for a shot. CLUB ATLÉTICO DE LAGARENA's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Cortes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xelo Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Nikos F.C.'s zone, Narciso Cortes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xelo Silva came out of the goal and Narciso Cortes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CLUB ATLÉTICO DE LAGARENA's Normando Ricoy got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Normando Ricoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Normando Ricoy struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Xelo Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CLUB ATLÉTICO DE LAGARENA. Normando Ricoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Narciso Cortes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xelo Silva was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. When the referee ended the match the CLUB ATLÉTICO DE LAGARENA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
