Spectators: 7180 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) UD Las Palmas's Ognyan Rusev started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Ognyan Rusev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Domingo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of CF MOLLET UE booed when UD Las Palmas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugen Lungu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ezequiel Jerrold who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Dario Zamora when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ezequiel Jerrold could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Dario Zamora made a huge save. Oton Erosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Dario Zamora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Quintan Sierra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abel Domingo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ognyan Rusev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CF MOLLET UE's Abel Domingo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ognyan Rusev in the 29th minute of play. Dario Zamora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sotil Segura in the 32nd minute of play. Dario Zamora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sotil Segura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute Sotil Segura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Zamora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ezequiel Jerrold recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sotil Segura was the one to do the kick off. Abel Domingo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iratze Arribas in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute, Ognyan Rusev made a precise shot to the right of Abel Domingo. CF MOLLET UE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 69th minute, Oton Erosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ognyan Rusev got free with Abel Domingo in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the match, UD Las Palmas's goal looked a bit too open when Oton Erosa came free, but Dario Zamora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ognyan Rusev kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Abel Domingo. That made the score 1-4 in the 79 minute of play. UD Las Palmas's Amadeo Diaz got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind UD Las Palmas's goalkeeper Dario Zamora, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Paulino Cuadrado took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Abel Domingo to make any attempt to save it. 91 minutes into the match, CF MOLLET UE's goalkeeper Abel Domingo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ognyan Rusev. 91 minutes into the game, Octavio Martinez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CF MOLLET UE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD Las Palmas the free kick.
