In the 4th match minute, ATOTXAKO TALDEA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diagur Aguado to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Puig hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Venancio Llorente came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by ATOTXAKO TALDEA's Diagur Aguado. But to his dismay, Diagur Aguado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 12 minutes into the game, Antonio Puig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Melilla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ATOTXAKO TALDEA the free kick. In the 13th minute, Salomon Ramiréz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luis Feal's late challenge caught a ATOTXAKO TALDEA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Feal helped the player get up and apologised. 22 minutes into the match, UD Melilla's goal looked a bit too open when Diagur Aguado came free, but Venancio Llorente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diagur Aguado in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Venancio Llorente saved UD Melilla from getting behind. Ando Kivistik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ando Kivistik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prudencio Arenas kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. UD Melilla's Ando Kivistik got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ando Kivistik in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodney Solera saved ATOTXAKO TALDEA from getting behind. The supporters of ATOTXAKO TALDEA booed when UD Melilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Feal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Nestor Casanova managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Melilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor Casanova was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ando Kivistik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roger Goyanes to make the kick off. Ando Kivistik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Rodney Solera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ATOTXAKO TALDEA's Rodney Solera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Casanova in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute Nestor Casanova shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodney Solera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 62 minutes, Ando Kivistik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Melilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ando Kivistik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ando Kivistik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodney Solera having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Aureo Contreras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nestor Casanova in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodney Solera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Ando Kivistik managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Melilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Ando Kivistik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodney Solera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, ATOTXAKO TALDEA's Diagur Aguado got a free kick in the 69th minute. Luis Feal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Rodney Solera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Nestor Casanova's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodney Solera was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. If Ando Kivistik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 played minutes UD Melilla got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Alabern. In the 84th minute, ATOTXAKO TALDEA's Diagur Aguado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Venancio Llorente. Venancio Llorente yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. When Diagur Aguado fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ATOTXAKO TALDEA's protests and gave Diagur Aguado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute of the match Carlo Alabern sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodney Solera skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Ando Kivistik managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Melilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Ando Kivistik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
