El Trocadero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santander SD the free kick. In the 12th minute, Basilio Maestro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paco Sirvent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cruz Labarra having to interfere. Basilio Maestro got his second yellow card in the match during the 16th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to El Trocadero getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Basilio Maestro hit a great ball. Gaztea Vazquez's late challenge caught a Santander SD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaztea Vazquez helped the player get up and apologised. Gaztea Vazquez hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Gaztea Vazquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paco Sirvent's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cruz Labarra firmly grabbed it by the left post. Paco Sirvents short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Cruz Labarra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Xaiver Guerrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to El Trocadero getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Gaztea Vazquez hit a great ball. After 43 minutes El Trocadero's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Justin Gandia who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Santander SD's corner Justin Gandia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cruz Labarra quite easily take care of the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Paco Sirvent was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santander SD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Trocadero the free kick. The supporters of El Trocadero booed when Santander SD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paco Sirvent didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Aladino Echeto made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Cucao Figueres sent off a good shot on target. After 88 minutes, Egoitz Ortiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Trocadero and the Santander SD players grew even worse after the yellow card.
