Anxel Mudarra came out of the goal and Asier Iniesta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asier Iniesta in the 19th minute of play forced Choteras's goalkeeper Anxel Mudarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Choteras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berto Garay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Espiridion Valcarcel had to leave the field with a concussion. After 34 minutes, Hechter Quesada mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Zaraguay and the Choteras players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zeledon Domingo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Berto Garay's late challenge caught a Real Zaraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Asier Iniesta to strike the kick off in the second half. Belarmo Feliu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Macías, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 60 minutes into the match, Real Zaraguay's Asier Iniesta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anxel Mudarra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lancelot Azofra's late challenge caught a Choteras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lancelot Azofra helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st match minute, Real Zaraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lancelot Azofra to maneuver through the defense. Belarmo Feliu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Macías in the 72nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Choteras's Anxel Mudarra got control of the ball when Zeledon Domingo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Asier Iniesta managed to get in a good position for a shot.
