The referee ignored Medina Azahara AFC's protests and gave Bernat Cambero a yellow card for diving instead. Bernat Cambero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Tonete Abad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 54 minutes into the match, Norberto Reina notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of R.C.ARENAS's Tonete Abad. Tonete Abad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernat Cambero in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tonete Abad saved R.C.ARENAS from getting behind. 61 minutes into the game, Naldo Segura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. R.C.ARENAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Medina Azahara AFC the free kick. In the 61st match minute, R.C.ARENAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naldo Segura to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Medina Azahara AFC's Juan-Francisco Garay broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide.
