Luis Lagunas hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Rolando Jaen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Tarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes of play, La Alfera's Fidel Tarin made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Jaen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Porfiro Noya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moncho santillana went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Porfiro Noya was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Urtsin Escobar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 28 minute of play. Porfiro Noya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moncho santillana went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. In the 37th minute, Dino Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, Saviñan FC's Moncho santillana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Porfiro Noya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 47 played minutes Saviñan FC got a freekick which was hit by Urtsin Escobar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dino Castro was the one to do the kick off. When Urtsin Escobar came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Saviñan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urtsin Escobar couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Saviñan FC booed when La Alfera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uhin Ziguenza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urtsin Escobar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Porfiro Noya having to interfere. 6-2 became the score in the 67th minute when Urtsin Escobar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Rolando Jaen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Porfiro Noya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urtsin Escobar in the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urtsin Escobar in the 76th minute of play forced La Alfera's goalkeeper Porfiro Noya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Monte Barrientos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jacques Colsa came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Saviñan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacques Colsa couldn't finish the play. A collision led to La Alfera getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Uhin Ziguenza hit a great ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Moncho santillana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saviñan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moncho santillana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fidel Tarin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dino Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After 90 played minutes Saviñan FC got a freekick which was hit by Damian Revuelta. After 91 played minutes, La Alfera's Jorge Macías shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rolando Jaen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Alfera reached it. Urtsin Escobar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saviñan FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
