In the 8th minute Eustaquio Cabrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Porfiro Noya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andoitz Ibanez kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Severiano Patiño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Fidel Tarin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Canyamars AFC's goalkeeper Severiano Patiño, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Porfiro Noya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Cabrera in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th match minute, La Alfera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Lagunas to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, La Alfera's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Cabrera came free, but Porfiro Noya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fidel Tarin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. La Alfera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fidel Tarin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dino Castro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Canyamars AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Ramos to maneuver through the defense. La Alfera's Porfiro Noya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quirce Olle in the 55th minute of play. A hard shot 56 in the game by Fidel Tarin from a close distance when the talented Severiano Patiño managed to make a qualified save. Canyamars AFC's players were relieved. Quirce Olle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Porfiro Noya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uhin Ziguenza hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Eustaquio Cabrera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Porfiro Noya having to make a save. Quirce Olle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Porfiro Noya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to La Alfera getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Truylos Lara hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Isaio Martinez sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and La Alfera's Porfiro Noya didn't even have to move. Fidel Tarin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agamenón Colillas hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Severiano Patiño was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Uhin Ziguenza. Severiano Patiño made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fidel Tarin in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute, Toro Saboya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the game, Fidel Tarin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Severiano Patiño was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dino Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Severiano Patiño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Canyamars AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. La Alfera were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
